Its that time of year, the Natural Products Expo East is back again, and back in Baltimore. Their website says it best, “Natural Products Expo East isn’t just a trade show. It’s your chance to see, hear, smell, taste and get your hands on everything new in the natural, organic and healthy products industry. ”

If you have been there before then you know what its all about. If you have never seen the sites of the the Natural Products Expo, it truly is an experience. I have been fortunate enough to visit the show both in Baltimore, as well as the few years it was in Washington DC. Suppliers from all facets of Natural Products come to showcase their company, and new products.

It will be in Baltimore again this year, from September 27 - 29th, in the Baltimore Convention Center which is large, and will be packed with suppliers, buyer, brokers, retailers, and onlookers, each of which will be busy filling up their freebie bags with the endless rows of samples that will be given away. Some of the most memorable samples in the past, other than all of the food, would have to be the chewable tooth brushes, vitamin C gum, aura readers, and most of all free back massages (honestly, I am not sure what that company was selling).

For all who are going, Enjoy !! For those who do not yet have plans to be there, do what you can to change whatever plans you may have and get there, you will not be sorry.

Keep an eye out for the all natural food products company Health Is Wealth Products Inc. who will not only have their own new products to showcase, but will also have Sabaidi Tea bags to show to brokers, retailers, and all those who are interested in selling them. Unfortunately we were unable to get sufficient amounts of samples sent to the US for the show, but as we are preparing for Sabaidi Tea Bags to arrive in the US by the middle of October, we are beginning to introduce the our products. Remember, HEALTH IS WEALTH…You can go check them out and not only will you get some good food from Health is Wealth, but might also get Sabaidi Tea Samples.

In addition to other health concerns smokers should have, Strong Teeth and Healthy Gums are an easily visible byproduct of smoking. Our teeth and smiles are very hard to hide, and a perfect smile can be drastically altered by smoking.

Though nicotine stains are a major factor in discoloring teeth and injuring our gums, there are other factors that damage strong teeth and effect the healthy gums; mainly a depletion of Vitamin C.

In our everyday lives, our bodies undergo stress. Whether it is hot or cold weather, emotional stress from work or family, air pollution, cold rain, bacteria, etc. we are always encounter something that is a strain on our bodies. With the increased demands on our bodies, we deplete our Vitamin C.

A habitual smoker, continuously puts an above average amount of stress on their bodies, more severely depleting their levels of Vitamin C. What this does do your once strong teeth and healthy gums, is the same, depleting. Vitamin C plays a very important role in maintaining and repairing healthy tissue. Initially this lack of Vitamin C can lead to Gingivitis, which will cause your gums to be red, swollen, and easy to bleed. This can also lead to more severe gum damage, which will either result in extensive dental work, or loss of teeth.

In addition to this, low levels of Vitamin C leads to low levels of Collagen, the cement that holds our body tissue together, and is the primary component of tendons, ligaments, bones, and TEETH. If you want strong teeth, you need collagen.

So if you are not going to quit smoking, are you doomed to a toothless smile ? Not quite. There are relatively simple ways that you can help yourself. Try to get in a practice of drinking more water throughout the day to help your body stay clean. If you do not like water, drink tea, mainly Lemongrass Tea, as it will help remove toxins from your body. Try to stay away from soda and too much fruit juice, as the sugar content in both will put holes in your teeth which will defeat the purpose of keeping them.

Increase your vitamin C intake by either eating more fruits containing vitamin C such as Oranges or Grapefruits, or simply take Vitamin C pills, or perhaps even better a multi vitamin.

This advice is good for anyone, smoker or not, but if you do smoke, do what you can to minimize the damage.

Get White Teeth

If you are anything like me, a smile is very important. Because of a lot of dental work I have needed, and had in my childhood, I am very conscious to my own teeth and the teeth of others. Our smile, is literally something we can not hide. Your mouth is right there, and pearly white teeth, or discolored teeth can seriously alter a reaction you get from someone, whether that is at a job interview, business meeting, date, conference, social event, or any other time you meet anyone. For those who have read the book BLINK, I think you will better understand what I am saying. Whether it is consciously or subconsciously, people will react differently to you from the first impression they get, which often times can happen in the blink of an eye. Just think about the next time you meet someone, and they say hello and smile, would you rather see white teeth, or grey teeth ? Or better yet, how do you want your teeth to look ?

For those who would prefer a white smile, Sabaidi Health has comprised 3 ways to help you get white teeth, and keep them that way.

1. After you eat, don’t give the food a chance to settle on your pearly whites; Brush your teeth. If you are out, and do not have access to a toothbrush, Drink water or chew sugar free gum. Sugar free gum helps keep get your teeth white for a couple reasons. One, the stickiness of the gum helps to clean off any food or other factor that may stain your teeth like coffee. Two, the gum will help because it keeps you salivating which is the same benefit of drinking water really. It keeps you mouth from drying out, greatly helping to prevent stains. Eating raw fruits after you eat is also a good method of cleaning your teeth. As they say, an apple a day, keeps the dentist away.

2. Avoid Coffee and black Tea, and especially Cigarettes. Many people know, these foods will stain your teeth. It is not always easy to stay away from the caffeine or nicotine, but remember White Teeth. Or if you enjoy a cup of coffee of black tea as many do, refer to method one to help get, and keep you teeth white. Also, if you are a tea drinker, drink other teas such as green tea or herbal teas such as lemongrass or pandan though they do contain no caffeine.

3. While it is true that methods one and two above are important factors for a shiny white smile, most need a more drastic change, that the above will not provide. Years worth of coffee drinking, and smoking can leave a white smile as nothing but a childhood memory. For this drastic change needed, there are really only 2 options, treatment from your dentist, or whitening strips for your teeth. The best method is probably treatment from your dentist. The outcome is guaranteed, and the side effects are minimal to non existent. The only side effect worth mentioning is the effect on your bank account. Professional whitening can be costly. The white strips are a less expensive alternative that will show a noticeable improvement. In efforts to help you see if the white teeth strips are best for you, Sabaidi Health has found a 7 day free trial by Ultima Smile. For the free trial, click here

Dreaming of getting a Perfect Smile? Wont be possible without a good and stunning set of teeth. But how to achieve that? Not a task. All you need is just a little more concern and time for your invaluable possession: your teeth.

Your teeth are made up of three distinct layers, namely enamel, dentine and pulp. Some food particles get accumulated every time you munch on your favorite food. And if you do not clean them regularly, the food that is stuck is converted into lactic acid by the bacterial action. This acid dissolves enamel and dentine and produces a cavity. So to avoid dental problems, it is advisable for you to brush your teeth, twice a day.

To properly remove plaque from your teeth, after brushing, gently massage your gums with your fingers. This activity increases the supply of blood in your gums. Also use a tongue cleaner; for a good and effective tongue cleaning. After all, what good is a Perfect Smile if you have bad Breath ?

Choosing the right kind of toothbrush is very crucial for the over all health of your smile. A brush with M-shaped bristles is an ideal one. Always go in for soft bristles. You should eat considerable amounts of raw foods as they are important for producing friction in your gums. The activity of friction helps in keeping the gums firm and also in removing the plaque.

These raw foods are termed as Detergent Foods. Apart from them millets and sesame seeds are good as they contain considerable amounts of calcium.

Sunflower seeds are also storehouse of various elements. They contain vitamin A, fluoride, phosphorus and calcium. Sunflower seeds also prevent bleeding of gums.
