Its that time of year, the Natural Products Expo East is back again, and back in Baltimore. Their website says it best, “Natural Products Expo East isn’t just a trade show. It’s your chance to see, hear, smell, taste and get your hands on everything new in the natural, organic and healthy products industry. ”

If you have been there before then you know what its all about. If you have never seen the sites of the the Natural Products Expo, it truly is an experience. I have been fortunate enough to visit the show both in Baltimore, as well as the few years it was in Washington DC. Suppliers from all facets of Natural Products come to showcase their company, and new products.

It will be in Baltimore again this year, from September 27 - 29th, in the Baltimore Convention Center which is large, and will be packed with suppliers, buyer, brokers, retailers, and onlookers, each of which will be busy filling up their freebie bags with the endless rows of samples that will be given away. Some of the most memorable samples in the past, other than all of the food, would have to be the chewable tooth brushes, vitamin C gum, aura readers, and most of all free back massages (honestly, I am not sure what that company was selling).

For all who are going, Enjoy !! For those who do not yet have plans to be there, do what you can to change whatever plans you may have and get there, you will not be sorry.

Keep an eye out for the all natural food products company Health Is Wealth Products Inc. who will not only have their own new products to showcase, but will also have Sabaidi Tea bags to show to brokers, retailers, and all those who are interested in selling them. Unfortunately we were unable to get sufficient amounts of samples sent to the US for the show, but as we are preparing for Sabaidi Tea Bags to arrive in the US by the middle of October, we are beginning to introduce the our products. Remember, HEALTH IS WEALTH…You can go check them out and not only will you get some good food from Health is Wealth, but might also get Sabaidi Tea Samples.

5 Ways to ReUse Tea bags

After you use a tea bag to make yourself a cup of tea, what do you do with it ? Chances are you throw it away. What else would you do with it, right? Well, actually there are a few things you can do with a used tea bag. Here are Sabaidi Tea Co.’s top 5 uses for used tea bags.

1. Make Another Cup

While this works best with whole leaf tea bags, really, you can reuse any tea bag. After you make a cup of tea with your tea bag, take the tea bag out of the water, hang it on your Tea Stand (if you are a Sabaidi Tea drinker) or put it on a plate or other clean location, and drink your tea. When your cup of tea is finished, use your tea bag to make a second, third, fourth, or possibly fifth cup of tea. A standard tea bag will only give you 2 cups really, but a whole leaf tea bag can give you up to5 cups throughout the day depending on how strong you like your tea. Just remember, each additional use, steep your tea bag for increasing increments until you receive a desired taste. For the last cup you may want to keep the tea bag in your cup.

2. Reduce Puffy Eyes

After you make yourself a cup of tea, drain out a majority of the tea so that it is not dripping but still damp, and place in the refrigerator. For this, really you need two bags, so keep the tea bag in the refrigerator until you make yourself a second cup of tea. When you have two, you can use the now damp, cool, tea bags to reduce puffy eyes.. Through most tea bags will work, certain teas such as Rose will work best, as rose water is known for its benefits to skin, especially if it is mixed with green tea which contains anti-oxidants.

3. Body Scrub

Another skin care benefit, Tea can be used as a body scrub. After you finish your tea, open the tea bag and put the tea on a plate or in a bowl (Really, whole leaf tea bags are what you need here). Ideally when you shower, rub the damp tea on your skin. The slightly abrasive leaves will help to exfoliate your skin. Green tea works best as the anti-oxidants in the green tea will provide additional skin care benefits.

4. Fertilizer

If you have potted plants, or a garden, the tea in your used tea bags works as a fertilizer. Tea is a leaf, and Herbal teas are herbs; Organic Matter (even if they are not “Organically Grown”, they are still organic. If there was anything dangerous to your plants in the teas, you could not drink them). While “All Natural” whole leaf teas and herbs work best, any tea, including tea dust and oil flavored teas will also work.

5. Cooking

With the heart of conservation in the form of “reuse,” you can reuse your teas as spices in cooking. While certain teas, such as Lemongrass and Pandan, will work best to help flavor your foods when cooking, you can use most teas; remember Tea is a leaf. Experiment and see what works best for you. Reusing your Tea Bags

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (1 votes, average: 5 out of 5)

With Tea becoming the beverage of fashion throughout the world, new practices are quickly springing up. One of which is reusing tea bags. For some this is standard, but in a world where everything is individual sized and disposable, reusing tea bags rarely is thought of; especially when the relative cheapness of a tea bag is considered.

But as I said before, tea is becoming the fashion, which also means it is becoming big business. What that means to the consumer is options. As many have noticed the selection of tea bags is rapidly growing, and the quality of the teas included in them is getting better. No longer are there only standard tea bags with the low quality tea dust, but a new era has dawned with the Gourmet Tea Bag revolution. Inside of these tea bags, there is high quality loose tea giving higher health values, a better taste and aroma, and tea bags you can reuse.

Though many companies choose not to promote this option, companies such as Sabaidi Tea Co., Ltd., are not only promoting the reusing of tea bags, but also creating products such as the Sabaidi Tea Stand, that along with their tea bags have been specially designed to work with each other to greatly aide in the practice of reusing tea bags.

For those who have never reused their tea bags before, I am sure you are asking yourselves, Why? Well, there are a few reasons:

1. Many are choosing to buy the high quality gourmet tea bags for their higher health benefits, better taste and aroma, and unique blends. The only problem there is that the gourmet tea bags are a bit more expensive. So if you are drinking 3-5 cups of tea a day, reusing 1 tea bag versus using 3-5 tea bags can be a difference quickly noticed.
2. Tea is commonly associated with its many health benefits. By getting into the practice of reusing your tea bag, you can fully maximize the health benefits available, not to mention fully hydrating your body.
3. Taste is perhaps a question for those thinking about reusing their tea bags. Will the taste be the same if I use my tea bags more than 1 time? The answer is Yes. In fact, the second cup of tea is often times better than the first. After you make you first cup of tea, soaking you tea bag for approximately 2 minutes, take the tea bag out and hang it on your Tea Stand (or if you don’t have a tea stand, put the tea bag in a plate or wherever is best for you). Then with each additional use, soak the tea bag for increasing increments until a desired taste is received. Depending on how strong you like your tea, you can get 3-5 cups per bag.

Reusing your tea bags is a good way to not only save yourself money, but also strengthen your health, and as Sabaidi Tea Co. says, “Your Health is Everything.”

How gourmet tea bags can make you smarter

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (2 votes, average: 5 out of 5)
Loading ... Loading ...

While this seems like a truly outrageous claim, in this essay, I will show you how getting in a practice of drinking, and reusing your gourmet tea bags will allow you to fully maximize your mental capabilities.

Though a long time tea drinker, the truth did not come to me until just recently, while reading the book, Double your Brain Power, by Jean Marie Stine. In this book, Stine does not necessarily show the reader how to grow their IQ, but shows us how we can use our brains more efficiently; thereby becoming smarter. She makes the basic claim, that if we are in essence using a larger percentage of our brain by focusing more of it on the task at hand, we will perform better at what we are doing. Simple logic, that makes a lot of sense.

A lot of what is talked about in this book are things I had thought about before, and recognized, though never really thought too much about, or at least didn’t know how to completely understand it. In the second chapter, Tapping Your Optimum learning State, Stine explains how psychologist Eric Klinger, Ph.D has done studies that show more than 75 percent of our learning power is drained off in ticking along in thought “ sorting information and generating possibilities.” And if 75 percent of our mind is somewhere else, that leaves only 25 percent of our brains focusing on learning new information, or concentrating on what we may be doing. A shocking bit of information.

So what is given in this chapter, is how we can tip the scales so that more of our energy is focused on one article by reaching our Optimum learning state. There are 4 basic levels of brain activity; Conscious awareness/dreams where our brain is the most active, Relaxation and meditation which is where our brain is moving at a slower pace, intense emotion or concentration which is our optimum learning state (OLS), and finally deep dreamless sleep where our brains are the least active.

Normally our brains are at the “conscious awareness and dreams level. They are moving too fast, and we are not able to concentrate. If we want to really concentrate on one particular text, lecture, or other solitary object, then we have to make a conscious effort to slow ourselves down so that we are able to create the OLS.

The first step with this is Deep Breathing. Stine tells us that this possesses three benefits that help in achieving our OLS. First, deep breathing allows us to intake high levels of oxygen which our brain requires during peak learning levels. Second, it helps us to relax, clear our minds, and release tension. Third, deep breathing helps create a rhythmic cycle that attunes the brain to a relaxation and meditative state. Studies have shown that 5-7, 4 second deep breathes will be sufficient. More than 7 could have adverse effects. After this, return to natural breathing.

Now that we are almost there, we can use relaxation to deepen our OLS. For this, Stine says that once our deep breathing is complete, to close our eyes, and breathe naturally through our nose, and listen to our breathing. This will help us concentrate on our breathing, which will help us relax, and begin to concentrate on a solitary figure. After a minute or two of this, we will be ready to begin listening to a lecture, studying, or whatever it is we need to focus on. Stine also offers ways to further deepen our OLS by adding a mantra or affirmation to the relaxation portion of this.

By this point, I am sure you are asking yourself, How do gourmet tea bags fit into this? If we look back at the first step towards raising our consciousness, deep breathing, we see that one of the benefits is clearing our minds of tension. When we make a cup of tea, the water is hot, and steaming. The steam helps us to better clear tension. Also, by breathing in the gourmet tea, and herbal teas, the aroma further acts to help us relax; which is the purpose of the deep breathing.

After the deep breathing is over, and we have reached the second step, relaxation, small sips of the hot tea continues to slow ourselves down, as we continue to breath in the steam; however this time at a regular breathing rate. These are the basics behind how tea can be matched with Jean Marie Stine’s method of increasing our focus. Gourme tea, however contains additional benefits that help bring us, and keep us at our OLS.

Gourmet tea bags are best for this, as they can be reused (in addition to the added health benefits). By getting into a practice of reusing our tea bags at the office, and during home study, we increase the frequency of our tea drinking. The tea bag is hanging on your tea stand, always at the tip of your fingers, making it easy to make a second and third cup of tea. Each time you feel your focus dwindling, you can make yourself another cup of tea, and go over the whole process again, returning to your OLS. Also this will allow you to get up for a minute or two, which will help to momentarily clear your head.

Also, many herbal teas contained in gourmet tea bags, such as Lemongrass and Bael Fruit, are known for their stress reducing functions while naturally raising mental alertness. These are of course added health benefits towards raising your focus, while you Double Your Brain Power.
